Zimbabwe vs. Pakistan, 1st ODI, Jul 13: Match Preview & Prediction

Team Pakistan will be on a tour to Zimbabwe to play an ODI series with them this July. The cricket team of Pakistan has been busy recently, so fun for the fans continues in July too. 1st ODI match of this series would be held on 14th July at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. The match will begin at 12:45 pm as per Indian Standard Time and both the countries will look forward to beginning the series on a winning note.

Pakistan team will have some key players like Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq and Shoaib Malik among the batsmen who will be expected to play well in this series. The key bowlers include Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir and Junaid Khan. These players are famous throughout the world for their amazing performances, and the fans will expect something similar in this match as well.

The squad for Zimbabwe is yet to be announced. Once it gets announced, only then it can be analyzed that which team is stronger. Considering the past head-to-head matches, team Pakistan seems to have the upper hand in the match. However, team Zimbabwe can use their home ground advantage in their favour. The hosts have more experience of playing in that ground, and they understand the wicket well. This can prove to be tricky for team Pakistan.

A lot will depend on the playing XI that day. The last head to head match was held during Pakistan Tour of Zimbabwe in 2015-16. A lot has changed in both the teams since then. It will be an interesting battle. The team that wins will gain momentum in the series and will look forward to winning other matches as well.

Pakistan has a better chance of winning the match considering the huge difference in ODI rankings of both these teams.
