The itinerary of the six weeks long Sri Lanka’s tour of India was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on October 3. When India had visited the island nation in August-September, they had swept them in all formats of the game and the Indian team intends to repeat the same feat on home grounds. The Lankans, on the other hand, will try to salvage their reputation and try stopping the winning spree of India. They will play to win the series Indian soil, but looking at the current form of the Indian players the task seems difficult. But impossible wins have known to happen on the field and the humiliating defeats with follow-ons may just propel the Sri Lankans to show the mettle that made them a team to be feared till a few years ago.

Whatever be the outcome, only time will tell, but the fans in both the countries are looking forward to full-on entertainment and well-played matches. Nail biting finishes will satisfy fans from both the continents, and it is expected that the anticipation and excitement of real life matches will increase the interest of fantasy cricket players also.
