IPL Auction 2018: Here’s Mumbai Indians Player List

The defending champions Mumbai Indians will be looking to repeat their performance of 2017 when they became the first franchise to win three titles since the inception of the IPL. The team also became the first team ever to win 100 matches. So, fans have a lot of expectations and keeping this in mind the team management has selected the squad.

Player Retention

Like all other teams in the IPL, Mumbai Indians have also opted to retain a few players from the previous year. This includes Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya. Jasprit Bumrah will be their go-to wicket taker. He has had a good T20 series in South Africa and can be expected to continue the great form into IPL.

Rohit Sharma is the captain of the side and a successful one, as well. Besides captaining the Mumbai Indians, he will be expected to perform with the bat. So, there is a burden on his shoulders to perform.

Hardik Pandya can bat and bowl. He is a young player and will make meaningful contribution to the team with his bowling and batting.
