IPL 2018: RCB vs. SRH, May 17, 51st IPL Match Preview & Prediction

Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru is ready to welcome Sunrisers Hyderabad on 17th May. The host- RCB is back to their home ground after battling with Kings XI Punjab at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore and are ready to put their best foot forward and show that they are a strong team. Both teams have their positives and negatives, and the battle would be worth watching.

The hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Virat Kohli did not begin the season on a good note. Having lost most of the matches, they are still struggling to make their position in the playoffs. The batting line-up is strong with the captain, AB De Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Manan Vohra, Quinton De Kock, Parthiv Patel and Corey Anderson. They even have promising all-rounders like Moeen Ali and Washington Sundar. The bowling unit is also good with Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj and Chris Woakes who bowl at good lengths and take wickets to keep the batsmen on edge.

The visitors are known for their strong bowling unit. They have already made it to the playoffs and are topping the table. Their batsmen like Captain Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, and Alex Hales are capable of scoring a good target and make the opposition nervous. They are also known for hitting huge shots. The bowling unit of Siddharth Kaul, Buvaneshvar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma and Shakib Al Hasan is capable of scaring any batsman.

The battle would be interesting to watch. If all the batsmen of the Royal Challengers play well, being on their home ground, they can be assured of a big total that can be hard for the visitors to beat. Though visitors have better prospects of winning but the Royal Challengers should give a tough time to them. Sunrisers Hyderabad should not be over-confident of their bowling as happened against CSK.

Let’s see who wins this match that can be touted as a contest between Batsmen from RCB versus bowlers of SRH. You, on the other hand, pick out the best players from the two teams to create your own fantasy cricket team.
