India Vs Windies, 1st T20I, Nov 04, Sun: Match Preview & Prediction

West Indies tour of India, 2018 has been interesting so far. Though India could easily win the test matches, the ODI series after that was full of twists and turns. After the 5 matches of ODI series, the two teams are set to face each other for the first T20 match on 4th of November. The match will be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and will begin at 7:00 p.m. IST. Since the ODI series has been an interesting one, the fans can expect some thrill in the first T20 match as well.

Indian squad will be seeing two big changes in this T20 game as both Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni will not be playing the match and Rohit Sharma will be the captain for this T20 series. The team has two options for wicket-keepers as Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik. Since all-rounder Hardik Pandya is yet to recover from his back injury, Krunal Pandya is in the squad as the all-rounder. The younger players like Shreyas Iyer, S Nadeem, and Washington Sundar are likely to get a chance in this match.

A T20 squad of West Indies is strong, and there will be players like Lewis, McCoy, Nurse, Pollard, Russell, Ramdin and Powell who will be showing their amazing skills on the field. The batsmen of West Indies are powerful hitters, and it is sure that the crowd at the Eden Gardens will witness some great shots.

Seeing the past T20 clashes of both the teams, West Indies seems to be at a better position than the hosts. Also, India has two big faces missing from the squad which the fans are yet to digest. However, there is a home advantage for the hosts which makes both the sides balanced. West Indies might win the match because they will be looking forward to putting their best players on the field.
